On the internet, people know me by the name Fat D. You might have seen me once or twice in the The Sims 2 Modding Community, the DS flashcart scene or on some forums or blogs where Nintendo fans gather. I sometimes comment on issues on which I have an opinion, but until no I had no place to prominently displaying them. Sounds like the perfect situation to start a blog, I thought. And here I am now.
First of all, let me tell you something about myself. I am a Nintendo nerd. Most likely many of my posts will be about Nintendo products and presentations, or about other Nintendo fans, as in types of fans, not individuals. Being a Nintendo nerd includes for me at least some sort of dedication (so you will not often see pro-PS3 and pro-360 statements), but it does not mean blind loyalty, so be prepared to see negative opinions as well. But so far, I have been content with most of their stuff, including their E3 2008 presentation, which recieved much hate by many Nintendo followers. But more about that later, there will be a dedicated post for that.
My opinions may and will differ from the general consensus in many cases, in fact, this is one of the reasons I started this blog. For an unrelated example, although I am an occidental European (a German, to be exact), I like the smell of garlic and fresh PVC, but I absolutely loathe most perfumes. So if you have a different opinion, this is expectable, you need not be offended, you need not argue as in many cases my “different” opinions are rather strong and, after all, they are just opinions, but if you must insult me, lease do it in private. I am interested in your viewpoint, too, so if you like to comment on my posts, feel free to do so. After all, the western civilization upholds the principle of free speech and I believe in it. And a different opinion need not result in an argument that is not going to convince or persuade anyone.
With that said, I hope you enjoy reading what is to come
